The 51st USHA conference was very insightful and impactful. Edith Ikedi and Claire Philp joined other health and safety professionals at the Conference Aston, University of Aston to discuss current and emerging safety topics and explore the challenges they pose to the 21st century safety professional. Key topics covered, amongst others, include hybrid working, stress in HEI and mitigating the impact of work-related stress, artificial intelligence and its impact on health and safety. As a collective and individually, there were opportunities to explore multiple strategies to tackle these issues in an ever emerging and evolving world.
At Human Applications, we embrace the call to action and challenge to “think outside the box”. We are excited to see how these topics evolve in the coming years and the part we play in that journey.
