Human Applications is looking for a qualified health and safety professional to join our company, one of the UK’s leading risk management organisations. We will offer you an opportunity to work with some of the UK’s largest organisations, working as part of a team of leading health and safety consultants. You will have the capability to develop to be an excellent trainer, working as part of a team who will support your development. You will have the opportunity to work on audit and consultancy projects to learn our approach.

The role requires you to be based in or around Loughborough, UK.  You will be prepared to travel to client sites with colleagues, predominantly in the UK, but but also eligible to travel within the EU.  Excellent English both spoken and written is essential, as is a full driver’s licence.  You must be either CMIOSH or working towards CMIOSH, or be eligible to be a graduate member of IOSH.  You must be enthusiastic and keen to engage with others on health, safety and wellbeing issues.  We value exposure to safety issues across a range of topics from COMAH to CDM to behavioural safety.  This is a full-time post, we are only interested in employees. We operate our ISO-registered risk management consultancy mostly throughout the UK, and also often work on a world-wide basis, undertaking consultancy & training in health & safety, business risk and ergonomics. We have an enviable client-base of large ‘blue-chip’ companies and organisations in both the public and private sectors. We work in Retail and Distribution and with Police and Fire Services; in Aerospace, Airlines and Airports as well as with Local and central Government Agencies; in all kinds of Manufacturing environments; and with Universities and Professional Accrediting Bodies. Our work is mostly with management teams – up to and often including Board-level work.

Please note that we’re based in Loughborough, in the East Midlands of England. One of our strengths is that we learn from each other by bouncing ideas and learning experiences around in regular team and business meetings. As such, you’d be based in the East Midlands and would normally expect to work at our HQ, The Elms, when you’re not out with clients.
