about us

Having an external validation of attainment in Health & Safety Risk Assessment and Risk Management techniques is an important pre-requisite for all who are concerned properly to discharge their responsibilities under Health & Safety Law. It also ensures that risk assessment and risk management effort is properly directed and cost-effective.

IOSH is the main professional body for health & safety matters in the UK and Europe, offering a wide variety of courses which have measured attainment standards. Delegates don't simply sit through a course, they must demonstrate their ability through a series of practical exercises and in a written test paper. At the end of the course, successful delegates receive an IOSH Certificate which is recognised throughout the public and private sectors in the UK and in Europe.

No previous experience is necessary for these courses. Further information on costs is given below.

In a fast-changing world with limited resources, the effective solution to risk assessment and risk management is low unit-cost, IOSH-accredited or IOSH-certificated on-site, tailored training from professionally qualified presenters with wide relevant industrial and commercial experience.

Pre-requisites and costs

No previous experience of health and safety is required - the cost-effective point of the IOSH courses is that they spread the load of risk assessment and risk management competently throughout the management structure of an organisation. The courses also allow for mobility between sites and between personnel.

The courses are cost-effectively priced for up to 15 delegates per course at any site in England and Wales. Costs include a master copy of delegate materials and, importantly, a pre-course site visit to tailor course materials and to generate relevant case studies for training purposes. This is essential for effective on-site training. Travel, subsistence, IOSH Certification and VAT are normally charged additionally at cost.

Many companies achieve significant cost savings by running multiples of the courses in a larger training project. Please contact us to discuss your specific local training needs. All prices on application.
