Effective Communication

As people directly involved in the effective communication of the business risk, safety or ergonomics 'message' we understand the importance of top quality information, awareness and training materials.

Training or information provision is always a quantum leap better if it's directly tailored to the workplaces and work practices of its recipients. Off-the-shelf materials have their place, but our clients understand the importance of having their training, information and course materials tailored to their specific needs.

We understand the importance of developing information and training so that those using the materials don't just 'read and forget' but 'read, think and do'. We have, considerable experience of developing practical workbooks, videos, CBT and other awareness/training materials to help ensure learning objectives are easily achieved and the recipients, interest and direct involvement is maintained.

Learning with Human Applications - Training Needs Analysis

To be truly effective, training and information needs have to be specified against the necessary competencies and the desired learning outcomes. We specialise in being able to define purposeful training needs and then developing training/information materials and courses to deliver agreed learning outcomes in the most effective and meaningful ways.

Most of all, we deal in practical, real world training with practical sessions and support materials aimed at delivering skills, tools, techniques, background information and understanding in order to make things really happen. We understand the importance of making information & training relevant and interesting and apply our knowledge in:

  • Making recipients think and work to achieve real, measurable learning objectives

  • Defining and delivering key learning outcomes

  • 'Lightening-up' dry subjects though the use of practical anecdotes and a little humour

  • Making information easily understandable and readable – we are ergonomists after all!

  • Combining theoretical understanding with practical sessions and case-studies

  • Above all, making things relevant

We understand the importance of the notion or 'competency' as a mixture of practical and theoretical knowledge – and experience. Also, we understand the importance, in many cases, or external validation (hence our suite of externally accredited or certificated courses).

We're happy to discuss all your tailored information, awareness or training needs. Contact us on enquiries@humanapps.co.uk and we'll arrange to meet and talk-through the potential solutions we can offer.
